Consists of the various locations that goods may be held, from physical ones to expense locations. On top of this the various transfer types may be performed to move goods around, and also stock takes can be undertaken.
The basic structure is that there are various types of locations which may hold stock levels. A stock level represents a product and its quantity and value. The quantity on a stock level is affected by transfers. History of the quantity and value of these stock levels over time is maintained through stock level balances. Transfers can be generated from a number of sources including requisitions, stock takes, and transfers between locations. A transfer has many items on it which record the product and quantity being transferred. From this it can be inferred the origin and destination stock levels being affected.
