GENERAL INFORMATION

A MyPlace customer can choose to report a lost sale to the Store/Warehouse when he/she opts out of MyPlace to buy a product from one of the competing vendors. The reason could be varying like unable to find the right part, price too high, better warranty etc. This feature helps the Store/Warehouse to understand the customer needs & concerns, take proactive measures to help retain the customers there by improving both the customer experience and the the sales.

The feature is controlled by two attributes, which can be set at any level like user, location, store and wd.

  1. findit_lostSalesAlert - enable the feature when true
  2. findit_lostSalesEmail - when provided with a valid email, the application sends an email alert to this address.

The APIs support following use cases:

  1. Health check
  2. Get reasons
  3. Record lost sale
