GENERAL INFORMATION

List represents a part list that a user maintains and uses it to order parts. User uses a list to store the parts that they generally request and categorize them for speedy part order.

Following is the related Figma design:

Every list belongs to a category and has one ore more groups.

Stock and General are the default system categories. These categories cannot be:

  1. renamed
  2. deleted

The third category - Seller Managed:

  1. is managed only by an admin
  2. non-admin user cannot update
  3. non-admin user cannot delete
  4. non-admin user cannot add/edit/remove parts to/from a list under this category
  5. non-admin user cannot move lists out to a different category
  6. non-admin user cannot move lists from other categories to this

Base group is the default group and has special treatment in the system. Following rules apply to the Base group:
