Authorization

Access to the API requires a valid CMC Salesforce access token. The Salesforce user calling the API should meet these requirements:

  • The user should have the CMC Public API Portal Access permission set assigned.
  • The user should be a CMC community portal user.
  • The user should have approved the CMC Public API Integrations App in Salesforce. The app can be approved here.
  • A user needing access to the cases resource should have the Appirio Customer Portal - Cloud Management user profile assigned in Salesforce.

Once you have a valid refresh token for your user, you will post your token the /oauth/token resource to create an access token for the API. The access token will then be used on subsequent requests as the AuthorizationToken header value.
